About
Ever since I can remember I have always admired Black & White photography of Paris, especially the ones immortalized by artists such as Willy Ronis or Eugène Atget.
At my younger age, I used to draw floor plans of houses and apartments, juggling around with the lines and furnitures. I filled pages of many sketchbooks I have kept until today.
Meeting with Helmut Newton at the age of 18 inspired me to purchase my very first camera.
After looking at his work, I realized just how much a photo was able to convey emotion, transmit a message. A simple photo can capture the beauty of a person, situation or place from a perspective you may not always see.
I am also passionate about other artists such as Pierre Soulage or Mark Rothko. I admire the play on shades of black and shapes and also the blending and clashing of colors. All these details balanced symmetrically or layered, inspire me daily.
Having a career for many years in the fashion and luxury industry, I have developped a very strong attention to detail. My experience in merchandisign, esthetics and presentations has taught me to convey feelings and emotions through a layout.
Having also acquired a passion for architecture and interior design it is with interior design photography that I have managed to combine both passions.
Although I am self-taught, I have also taken Serge Ramelli's courses on post-production.
